I recently wrote a post that contained 140 characters of Lorem Ipsum for you to use when adding dummy text for twitter posts on sites and that.
Apparently, proper dummy content shouldn't be Latin because blah blah blah, pedantic pedantic pedantic ...
I don't see the issue. It's all just letters bunched together with spaces and punctuation to form words and sentences.
But anyway. I'm an accommodating kind of chap. So - for the peculiar particular amongst you - I proudly present:
Philip the Purple Otter
Far away, in a forest next to a river beneath the mountains, there lived a small purple otter called Philip. Philip likes sausages. The End.
^ If you are daft enough to use the above as dummy content, feel free to comment links to screen shots or wotnot of it being used. You'll make a happy man very old, or whatever the saying isn't. It'll make me chuckle :)
And for no silly reason ...
If anyone would like to continue on Philip's adventures in 140 characters, post them as a comment below.
I'll only allow ones I like / aren't rubbish through moderation, & perhaps I'll even choose a winner.
Winner gets sent an illustration of Philip dreaming about sausages!
How do you like them apple-flavoured sausages?

COMMENTS
Does Philip the Purple Otter wear a bib?
@ Jon: What yer trying to say like? That Phil's a sloppy eater? I can assure you that Philip has the table manners of royalty, and the oral control of, um, a very orally controlled creature.
I think I know your slant. "Mighty Boosh" reference to an otter called Philip right? There's loads of otters out there called Philip. Very common name for 'em.
"He liked the quality sausages from Marks & Spencer but due to the recession he had been forced to shop in a less desirable supermarket. End"
"He awoke one day to find his pile of sausages missing. Roger the greedy boar with human eyes, had skateboarded into the forest & eaten them!"
I can't believe that's 140 characters!
"Philip the Purple Otter woke up this morning feeling very blue. Turned out he had a prickly experience with the twig sausages he liked. End."
@ Gram-Gram: Twig sausages?! You been drinking moon-shine on yer boat? :P
"Philip always dreamed of moving to America to start a dam of his own…He arrived, discovered hot-dogs and promptly returned to whence he came"
:) Let the record state that I really love hot dogs
This is pretty hilarious, and I'm so sick of Lorem Ipsum. I'm going to force the web designers at work to use alternatives.
